TRE is a self-help practice that releases stress, anxiety and trauma from the body.

It’s a no talk, body based practice, using the body’s instinctive healing ability, so there’s no need to talk about  problems, fears or anxieties,  this makes it very gentle and avoids further traumatisation from recalling painful memories.

We start by teaching a series of simple, stretching exercises, which assist the body in releasing deep, muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.  When tension is released anywhere in the body, the brain registers a reduction in pain signals, releasing calming hormones that promotes healing.
