TRE

TRE is a self-help practice that releases stress, anxiety and trauma from the body.

It’s a no talk, body based practice, using the body’s instinctive healing ability.

We start by teaching a series of simple, stretching exercises, which tire the muscles, by tiring the muscles we facilitate the body’s innate shaking mechanism, the reptilian brain takes over and the muscles relax. Relaxing tense muscle patterns reduces stress, anxiety and trauma. When tension is released anywhere in the body, the brain registers a reduction in pain signals, producing new hormones that promotes healing.
